4.47.05pm GMT Thu 29th Oct 2009

First Minister Alex Salmond today admitted that the Government holds no statistics on health workers’ uptake of the swine flu vaccine, in a response to Liberal Democrat Health spokesman Ross Finnie MSP at First Minister’s Questions.

Commenting, Mr Finnie said:

“Front line health workers are crucial to the containment of the flu outbreak.

"It is vital that the Government keeps accurate records of all health workers who have been vaccinated in order to prevent a break-down on the front line."
