Elspeth checks out Pavilions Alloa Business Park plan

12.00.00am GMT Mon 17th Nov 2008

Elspeth has visited Clackmannanshire to check out plans for the new phase of the Alloa West Business Park and see how European funds are being used in the local area. She visited the site along with local Councillor John Biggam and Perth & Kinross Councillor George Hayton.

After, Elspeth commented:

"It's great to see how European funds are being put to good use in Clackmannanshire. I was very impressed by the spaciousness of the premises. And, of course, the area has become even more attractive now that the Stirling to Alloa railway line has been reinstated."

Councillor Biggam added:

"The imminent opening of the Clackmannanshire Bridge brings further transport links to the area and it is good that we have the Pavilions Alloa Business Park to attract business to an area which has seen so much deprivation in recent years."
